I’m based in Prince George, British Columbia. My background brings together environmental science, applied climatology and natural resources engineering, with research and environmental practice in Canada and Iran.

My freshwater research at UNBC connects observations in the field with analysis in R and GIS. I’ve worked with water-temperature, streamflow and climate records, developing and evaluating models to understand freshwater conditions in northern British Columbia.
I also support research teams and students in turning complex datasets into clear maps, reports and research materials. Alongside environmental monitoring, my experience includes public-health survey analysis, climate education research and wastewater quality testing.

Featured research / UNBC / 2026
How can we understand changing freshwater temperatures when long-term observations are scarce?
Water temperature shapes oxygen availability, fish habitat and the persistence of cold-water species. In northern British Columbia, short and fragmented records make it difficult to see how thermal conditions are changing.
I compiled and quality-checked environmental records, implemented and evaluated temperature models, prepared figures and interpreted the results. This work connects field monitoring with a longer view of freshwater change.
